Dr. Irina Trosman is an accomplished physician specializing in Sleep Medicine for newborns, children, and adults. She is board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics, an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The daughter of an intelligent, compassionate, and dedicated physician, Dr. Trosman had no doubts that she would become a doctor, and she was accepted to the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine when her family moved to the U.S. from Europe. She became fascinated with Sleep Medicine because of her young son’s restless sleep, ultimately choosing it as her specialty and acquiring valuable experience treating both adult and pediatric sleep disorders. Dr. Trosman’s special interests include sleep disorders associated with obesity, asthma and allergies, other chronic illnesses, insomnia, restless legs, pediatric behavioral insomnia, and more. Born in Belarus, Dr. Trosman is a native Russian speaker.
