Assistant Professor of Sleep Medicine and Behavioral Neurology
Dr. Malik Nassan graduated with honors from Alfaisal University and received his Medical Degree in June 2014. He then completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic’s Department of Genomics of Neuropsychiatric in June 2016. Continuing his career at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Nassan completed a Psychiatry Residency and achieved board certification in June 2020. He further specialized by completing a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in June 2021 and a Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at Northwestern University in June 2023. Currently, Dr. Nassan is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology at Northwestern University. He has been recognized with the Mayo Clinic Psychiatry Department Research Summit Award in both 2015 and 2016. Dr. Nassan has published several original research articles and has presented his work at numerous conferences.
