Telemedicine Visits are Now Available
In light of recent health concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been considering additional measures to ensure your safety and health. To that end, we have been working behind the scenes to quickly roll out a telemedicine option for office visits.
Commercial insurance coverage may vary and questions about coverage should be directed to your insurance provider. An authorization/consent will need to be acknowledged prior to the first appointment.
Scheduling of a telemedicine visit can be accomplished through our phone appointment line (773-296-5500) as with any other appointment. You will need to have access to an internet browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) to use the HIPAA compliant videoconferencing portal. You should have a good internet connection, with functioning audio and video capabilities (computer preferred, but smart-phone will work as well).
Please find a quiet, private location to communicate. Write down problems and questions ahead of time.
We are recommending telemedicine visits, but our offices will remain available for in-person visits when deemed appropriate following physician screening.
